While we can’t prevent emergencies, we can ensure our clients, their families, and our employees are as prepared as possible for potential emergencies and hazards. We can also plan in advance to maintain key services during emergencies, and we can regularly test our plans to ensure they are effective. Dear Clients and Families,
Cooperative Home Care and Hospice wants to ensure the safety of our clients and their families. One way we are doing that is by completing patient emergency preparedness plans for all of our clients. These plans are updated annually and are usually completed during a routine visit to your home.
Additionally, we will continue to share information you need to know about Emergency Planning through letters and/or communications from your nurses, therapists and caregivers. All of the information we’re sharing with you will also be posted here, on our blog. You can also subscribe to our informative newsletters by entering your e-mail address here.
Finally, an important way that you can ensure your safety during an emergency is to create a Family Emergency Plan, based on your family’s specific needs.
