Well, sorry, unfortunately that won’t always happen.  As Mitch said below “people don’t always want what we want and don’t often believe what we believe.   Everyone has their own narrative and is struggling with their own fears.”   HOWEVER, WE can be in charge of how we interact with everyone around us, whether they are being nice to us or not – “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone” (Romans 12:18).   Each one of us has opportunities, multiple times a day, to choose to offer “peace, love, and understanding” instead of escalation, frustration, and anger.   What the other person does is on them, and there are times when a person will still act/react in a way where we do need to PEACEFULLY maintain healthy boundaries to protect ourselves.    So yeah, let’s do what we can to offer peace, love and understanding today and in the New Year.
